What all services does LimeAll provide?

LimeAll lets you :
- send song with your recorded message on a friends phone
- send a photo album as a slide show with a song and/or your recorded message playing in the background.
- send a video greeting.
- send auto-birthday greetings to contacts in birthday book with a song and/or voice message.
- setup party invitations with a video or musical photo album.

What information do I need to provide in order to use these services?

All you need to sign up with LimeAll providing the following information - First and Last Name
- Email (this will be user username)
- Password
- Primary Phone number
- State, City and Country
After signing up, you will be prompted to fill your address book. You can do this by importing contacts from your email accounts. You should enter phone numbers for your contacts as this will enable you to use our phone based services like call greeting.

How does the sign up work?

There are two ways to sign up:
A. You fill up the sign up form, You will receive an email with a link for verification. Click on that link and you are all set to go!
B. You receive referral email from your friend with a sign up link. Click on that link and you will be asked to complete the sign up form.

How do I login into my LimeAll account?

All you need to do is enter your email id and password and click on Login.

Why should I enter my phone number for signing up with LimeAll?

If you have a primary phone number set up, you will be able to use all our phone based services, like call greeting.

Can I enter more than 1 phone numbers for my account?

Yes! You can enter upto 3 phone numbers.

How do I add more phone numbers to my account?

Open your account information, by clicking "My Account". You can add more phone numbers in the "Personal Details" section. Alternatively, you may add or update your phone number while using our phone based services.

What is the use of creating an address book?

Creating and maintaining your address book will help you keep a collection of email ids and phone numbers of all your contacts. These will be required for using our services.

My address book is empty. How do I create an address book?

There are two ways to create an address book. Click on "My Account" and go to "Address Book" section.
A. Import: Click on "Import your contacts". On the page that follows, enter your email id (e.g. johndoe@hotmail.com) and password and click on "Import". From the list of all contacts that are fetched, you can select and add the contacts you want into the LimeAll address book. You will need to update phone number for each contact manually.

B: Manually: Enter First name, Last name, email address and phone number of your contact and click on Save. You might also need to do this when a particular contact was not fetched through the Import option.

My friends contact information has changed. How do I update my address book?

Click on "My Account" and go to "Address Book" section. Select your contact in the list and click on "Edit Selected Contacts". The input fields above will be filled with your selected contact’s information. You can change the information and click on "Save" to save you changes.

What if a contact is not present in my address book?

Click on "My Account" and go to "Address Book" section. Enter First name, Last name and email address of you contact and click on Save.

What is call greeting service?

Call greeting service allows you to send a song with or without a recorded personal message to your friend's phone.

Is the call greeting service free?

You have 5 calls free per month. In order to send a call greeting, at most 2 calls are used. Hence, you can send upto 5 calls greetings for free in a month.

What are the steps for sending a call greeting with a personalized message?

Follow these steps: - Click on "Call Greeting" on the menu bar.
- Choose your phone number. Make sure "I don’t want to record a message " option is unchecked.
- Choose recipients phone number.
- Choose a date and select the time on which the greeting should be delivered. If you want to send it right away, make sure "Send it now" option is checked.
- Choose a language, category and sub category. Select an audio file from the list.
- If you wish to listen the audio file selected, click on "Play"
- When ready, click on "Send Call Greeting" and you are all set!

Can I send call greeting to more than one person at a time?

No. Currently, LimeAll can only send a call greeting to one phone number.

Why do you require my phone number for sending a call greeting?

If you want to record a message to go along with the call greeting, you will need to provide LimeAll your phone number.

What if the phone number on which I want to receive call for recording my message is not present in the existing list of my phone numbers?

In that case, click on "Add new Number". On the ensuring dialog. Enter the number and click on "Update". After the dialog closes, you will the see newly added phone number in the list.

Finally click on Upload Audio button.

How do I send a call greeting instantly?

Make sure you check the "Send it now" option, before sending the call greeting.

How do I get more than 5 FREE calls every month?

Presently the only way to get more calls is by referring your friends and acquantainces.

How do I know my call greeting has been delivered successfully?

After your recipient receives a call, you will receive an email confirming the same. The email will contain a link to this call greeting.

How will the recipient get my call greeting?

After you select your options and click I "Send call greeting", the recipient’s will receive a call on the number you selected and LimeAll will play the recorded message (if recorded) and then audio file.

What is the Musical Photo Album service?

Musical Photo Album service allows you to choose your public web photo album, select a song and/or a recorded voice message and send it to a friend. Your friend will be able to view the album as a slide show with your massage and song playing in the background.

Is Musical Photo Album service free?

Yes! This service is completely free. You can send upto 10 Musical Photo Albums per day.

What are the steps for creating a musical photo album?

- On the top, click on "Musical Photo Alumb" option.
- Select album from the list or add a new album.
- Choose a language, category and sub category. Select an audio file from the list.
- Type a message.
- If you want to record a voice message, then choose your number on which to record a message and make sure "I don't want to record a message" is not checked.
- Select one or more contact to whom you want to send the album.
- Click on "Send Photo Album" and you are all set.

How do I import my photo albums from Picasa?

Your public photo albums from Picasa will be imported automatically if you used GMail id as your username. If you created a new public album since you last logged in, all you have to do is re-login and your new album will be available in the list. Currently, LimeAll only supports Picasa web albums.

What I want to use my private Picasa album?

On the Musical photo Album, click on "Add new photo album". On the ensuing dialog, Enter the title of the album and the embed link. You may extract the embed link by into Picasa in the window provided in the dialog. When ready, click on "Done" and your new album will appear in the list.

Why do you require my phone number for sending a musical photo album?

Unless you choose not to record a voice message, LimeAll requires you to provide a number. By doing so, you will get a call prompting you to record a message, which will used with the photo album.

If you are not using voice message with the album, then you can send as many albums as you like. But if you are sending a voice message with your musical photo album, then you will be using 1 call per musical album. The ability to send voice message in the album will depend on how many calls you are left with.

How will the recipient see musical photo album?

Once you click "Send Photo Album", the recipient’s will receive get an email with a link. The receipt will click on that link to view the music photo album on LimeAll with audio playing in the background. Unless you chose not to record a voice message, you will get a call on the number you selected prompting you to record a message. Once a message is recorded, the recipient will be the sent the email.

What is video greeting service?

Video greeting service allows you to email an embedded video greeting to your friends with or without a personalized message.

Is the video greeting service free?

Yes! Video greeting service is unlimited and free for all LimeAll users.

What are the steps for sending a call greeting with a personalized message?

Follow these steps: - Click on "Video Greeting".
- Type in your greetings message in the "Your message" box.
- Choose a date and select the time on which the greeting should be delivered. If you want to send it right away, make sure "Send it now" option is checked.
- Select email IDs of recipients.
- Choose a language, category and sub category. Select an video file from the list.
- If you wish to preview the video file selected, click on "Play" on right.
- When ready, click on "Send Video Greeting" and you are all set!

Can I send a video greeting without any personalized text message?

Yes. Just dont type any message in the "Your message" box.

I don’t see my recipients’ email ID in the list. How do I add new recipient’s email ID?

Click on "Add new contact". On the ensuing dialog, you can enter new contact information and click on "Add/Edit". The dialog will close and the new email ID will appear in the "Select email IDs of recipients" list.

How do I upload an video file?

Currently limeall supports only YouTube video.
- Click on "Add new video".
- On the ensuing dialog, select the language, category and sub category in which you want to upload the file.
- You can select the video of your choice from the Youtube view below.
- Copy the text from the "Embed" textbox on right and paste this on the "Youtube video embed link" textbox.
- Provide a title to this video in the "Video title" box.
- Press the "Submit" button and the video file will be added to your private collection.
If you want the video to be available to everyone, check the "Add to public video collection too" option before submitting.

How do I send a video greeting instantly?

Make sure you check the "Send it now" option, before sending the video greeting.

How do I know my video greeting has been delivered successfully?

After your recipient receives the email, you will receive an email confirming the same. The email will contain a link to this video greeting.

How will the recipient get my video greeting?

After you select your options and click "Send Video Greeting", the recipients will receive an email on the email IDs you selected. The email would contain the embedded link to the video you selected along with the message [if any] that you typed. They can play the video by clicking on the link in their email.
